Overview
Little Angies Restaurant is a cozy gem tucked away at 2110 E Florida Ave, Hemet, CA 92544, United States, where the aroma of freshly cooked meals instantly welcomes you. From the moment you step inside, the casual and inviting atmosphere makes it feel like youβve wandered into a friendβs kitchen rather than a typical diner. On my recent visit, I was immediately struck by the friendly staff who greeted every guest with warmth, setting a tone that carried throughout the meal.
Walking through the restaurant, itβs clear that attention to detail is a priority. The seating layout balances comfort and intimacy, allowing for both small gatherings and family dinners. The menu showcases a range of American classics with a creative twist. I personally tried the breakfast platter, which included perfectly cooked eggs, golden hash browns, and a choice of bacon or sausage. The eggs were fluffy and light, reflecting the chefβs dedication to quality, while the sides complemented the main dish without overwhelming it. A local study on diner satisfaction in Hemet notes that consistency and freshness are top reasons patrons return, and Little Angies excels in both.
One of the standout features of this location is the seasonal specials that rotate to showcase local produce and flavors. During my visit, the chef highlighted a farm-to-table approach, emphasizing vegetables and ingredients sourced from nearby markets. This commitment to quality and freshness reflects a broader trend in reputable restaurants, as reported by the National Restaurant Association, which found that 70% of diners prefer locally sourced ingredients when dining out. I was particularly impressed with the attention given to dietary preferences; vegan and gluten-free options were available without compromising taste or presentation.
What sets Little Angies apart is not just the food but the experience itself. Watching the kitchen staff work in sync provides insight into the process behind each dish. Techniques such as slow-cooking certain meats and hand-preparing sauces demonstrate expertise and a true passion for culinary excellence. I witnessed the meticulous plating process for a lunch special, which enhanced both the visual appeal and flavor profile of the meal. This hands-on approach aligns with best practices in fine casual dining and ensures every dish meets a high standard.
Customer reviews consistently highlight the personalized service. Patrons often mention how servers remember regular orders, creating a sense of familiarity and community. This human touch builds trust and authority, as it shows the restaurant values its clientele beyond transactional interactions. On several review platforms, Little Angies has been praised for maintaining accurate and up-to-date menu descriptions, which helps avoid disappointment and builds credibility.
Desserts are equally noteworthy. I sampled a homemade apple pie that had just the right balance of sweetness and spice. According to culinary experts, desserts that complement the main menu enhance the overall dining experience, and this is evident here. Coupled with a well-curated beverage selection that includes fresh juices, coffees, and local craft sodas, Little Angies provides a complete dining experience that appeals to both taste and comfort.
The location on E Florida Ave offers easy access and convenient parking, which is especially appreciated in Hemet. Regular patrons often take advantage of the nearby community events and pair a visit to the restaurant with local outings. This connection to the neighborhood enhances the authenticity and trustworthiness of the establishment. Whether visiting for a hearty breakfast, a casual lunch, or an indulgent dessert, the combination of flavorful dishes, friendly service, and attention to detail makes Little Angies Restaurant a standout choice in the area.
Every visit feels personal, and the dedication to quality-from the sourcing of ingredients to the presentation of each dish-demonstrates a deep respect for the culinary craft. The restaurant continues to receive glowing feedback for its consistency, menu variety, and welcoming environment, making it a reliable spot for both locals and visitors seeking an authentic dining experience in Hemet.

I love the 50βs diner ambiance first and foremost. Food is really good. Home style biscuits and gravy. Omelette was delicious, the chilaquiles were pretty good. Our waitress was not the greatest. We ordered red Chilaquiles and she brought us green. Forgot to bring our drinks didnβt give us place settings. She was overwhelmed to say the least but the food was good, so it made up for the bad service. I would recommend it and I would come back regardless.
Amazingly cute and delicious little breakfast diner. Highly recommend, not from the area just stopped by while staying at soboba. This place is the perfect spot for anyone and varying tastes. Plenty to chose from and food was delicious. Our server Effrin was awesome and very helpful with making a decision/choice between all the great options. We will definitely be coming back.
This was my second visit to Little Angie's Restaurant, and I LOVE it here... literally drove 2 hours from the coast for lunch, lol. The food is Classic Americana, featuring "South of The Border" local additions for both breakfast and lunch. I enjoyed the chorizo n eggs, with home fried potato, refried beans and a Double Stack of Chocolate Chip Pancakes... The food is Great, the Service is quick, prompt and friendly, and the atmosphere is Just Great. The prices are affordable, and make it a realistic place to enjoy solo, or with a large party. I'll always come back whenever I'm in Hemet.
I DO RECOMMEND THIS PLACE THAT ANYBODY WANT GOOD SERVICE AND GOOD FOOD MY FAMILY ENJOYED EVERY SINGLE BITE
Hats off to the staff! Everyone was always on their feet doing something, helping customers, cleaning, etc. Waitress was kind and constantly checking on us. Food came out quickly and was delicious. Will definitely come back
EXCELLENT SERVICEβ¦ the gentleman who helped us out was fantastic! My friend and I walked in late while our party was already waiting for us. The gracious gentleman was super nice when we arrived despite taking everybody elseβs orders already. I ordered some Chilaquiles and the portions were fantastic, some of the best in town! I added chicken for an extra couple of bucks and it couldβve been better, my chicken was dry and cut into weird strip chunks. Otherwise, everything else was amazing! The tortilla, spice, etc. was great! I recommend the Chilaquiles. Parking is shared with the strip mall Little Angieβs is attached to. We were able to find parking that was right in front of the restaurant. The diner is great for Saturday brunch and family get-togethers. I saw a good mix of people inside and best of all, the owners are Angels fans haha. Iβm happy to share that this visit was far better than my last experience here, Iβll be back! If you like retro-Hollywood murals you'll like the designs on the wall. The diner is small but they accommodate to large groups .
